Koel went Modern High School for Girls for Primary and School Level education. After Complete Her Schooling She Admitted in Gokhale Memorial's College with Psychology and Complete her BSc Honours under the University of Calcutta.
Koel Mallick's Father Ranjit Mallick was a Famous and Talented Actor in Bengali Film Industry. He is doing Films from Black & White Era to Modern Age. He did Films with Mahanayak Uttam Kumar.
As Ranjit Mallick's Daughter, Koel Got Some Extra Advantage to Get Entry in Film Industry. Her Father's Director Friend Haranath Chakraborty offered Koel Mallick for the First Time in Nater Guru in 2003.
Koyel did The Film, in This Film Ranjit Mallick played Her Reel Father, Laboni Sen played her Mother and Bengali Actor Jeet was the Male Lead. It was Jeet's 4th Film. That Time, Jeet was already declared as Most Popular Actor after Prasenjit Chatterjee.

In 2011, Koel played Ma Durga in the Morning Show of Mahalaya. It was very popular on That Year and Bengali People Gave Good Response to Her.
Koel had not any Gossips and Rumours with Any Hero in her Long Career. Even Media did not know about Her Relation with Nispal Singh Rane. She was Maintaining Her Relationship with Nispal but Nobody didn't aware about her Relation.
on 1st February 2013, They got Married. Nispal Belongs from Punjabi Family and He has own Production Company in Bengali Film Industry. After Marriage Koel did not maintain her Career as regular basis. Now she did only Selected Films.
